About

Dutton Community GardenCommunity gardens offer their members many things. Whether you are looking to have a space to garden and grow your own food, are concerned with the environment, or would like to strengthen your community and get to know your neighbors, Dutton Community Garden is for you.

The garden is located on the south side of Redeemer Covenant Church on Hanna Lake Ave, just south of 68th St.

Dutton Community Garden began in 2008 and is open to the entire community. Garden plots are available in two different sizes and there is a small fee to rent a plot. The plots are 20′x 20′ and 10′x 20′ in size. Plots are available for families, organizations or groups of friends who want to grow together.

Throughout the season, there are activities at the garden to give members the opportunity to get to know one another, beginning with a Seed Swap n’ Sow in the spring and ending with a Harvest Party in the fall.

If you are interested in more information about the Dutton Community Garden or would like a registration to reserve your plot, please call 616-698-8001 or email Dutton Community Garden.
